This audio edition of Danny the Champion of the World is narrated by actor Alfred Enoch (Harry Potter, How To Get Away With Murder), and is bursting with fantabulous sound effects.
"A stodgy parent is no fun at all. What a child wants and deserves is a parent who is sparky"
Danny has the most marvellous and exciting father anyone ever had. He can repair any car or machine that people bring to him, loves going on adventures with Danny and tells him incredible stories around the stove in the cozy caravan they call home.
The land around them belongs to Mr Hazell, a rich bully who NOBODY likes, not one-little bit. So, Danny and his father concoct a daring plot that will give Mr Hazell the greatest shock of his life.
But can they pull off this level of mischief-making without getting caught...?

Danny the champion of the world
Would 100% recommend this book, I love it so much, I listen to it every night.
Pile of garbage, worst characters, horrible plot . Don’t buy.
This audiobook is terrible. First, the main characters, our protagonists, are Danny and his dad. First Danny, not only does he lack much needed development, but he is perfectly okay with his dad’s malicious actions . Secondly, his dad, is evil, it’s never mentioned, but he would make an incredible antagonist. He poaches pheasants, do you want your child(ren) listening to subjects like crookery? No, you probably don’t. I don’t even want to listen to it myself. Next, the plot. It’s awfully written, it’s boring and confusing, it would make a better sport book than this trash. Anyway, so sorry about this rant, I just wanted to warn you about this book or, in other words, rubbish. Thank you for reading.
