Different style but good story
Once you get used to the different style of writing, the story line is actually very good. Dry in places, but it does give you room to use your imagination. I’m enjoying it so far!
Wonderful
An incredibly enjoyable book. I loved George’s interview at the end in which he shares his thoughts and some of his writing processes. I liked the way it was written as an incomplete retelling of history drawing on sources and the reign of Jaehaerys the Conciliator was, in my opinion, the best part.
Great read
Always wanted to read this book but just don’t have the time so the audio book is a great compromise, this narrator is great, really easy to follow and very captivating voice, far better than the narrator for the game of thrones series, shame they didn’t use the same man for all the books.
