APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Here, we’re treated to a marriage made in audiobook heaven: the timeless magic of Enid Blyton and Kate Winslet’s graceful, soothing narration. The first in The Faraway Tree series that began bewitching children (and, of course, adults) in 1939, it introduces us to Joe, Beth and Frannie who discover and climb the eponymous tree to discover its otherworldly creatures and a ladder that transports them to magical lands. Winslet is on sparkling form, imbuing wide-eyed wonder to Blyton’s exquisite storytelling. This is perfect for bedtime, or any time, really.

Good but..(editing 10mins later) it’s very good but.. well read the review! 👍🏻👎🏻❤️♥️💜❤️🩹💔
It’s an amazing one but I find this a lot, (and I’m only 11 on Friday!) that the words don’t match the books. At least not all the words. I think ,to improve it, u should make it so that it’s matching the words with the book more. I only rated it 4 ⭐️s cuz of this but also cuz like the ages and order and stuff of joe Beth and franny is different compared to the book and in the book I don’t remember so I might be wrong but I think one or two of the names are different to the actual book, so this and the fact of the words not matching the book is what’s doing it for me. Also I think the different voices might be able to improve, but seeing as it’s only one person reading it its a fairly good job. I just feel that it could be better especially to match the different personalities. I have rated it before but no review, but also I have suggestions: what if u do it so it is multiple ppl like only for the different voices of the characters and to match their personalities better. I have other but can’t remember. Also the whimsical little musical bits between different parts, honestly, I think it could be changed removed or edited a bit. It just feels (and I get it’s made for kids that are like 5 or something) that it’s just a bit TOO young for my age and older. I’m sure some others would agree with me but maybe you could change it a bit to make it something older kids like me would enjoy more. Thanks for reading this and this is an amazing audiobook. Pls consider the things I have said, and I look forward to any future versions of it! (I’m editing it 10mins later) I still agree with what I said, but I have just seen I have Jacqueline Wilson’s version. Idk if it’s the same for Enid Blyton’s version, but they have the same or just very similar words but in the audiobook, like, it’s different to mine and , form the best of my memory I think I have read it, Enid’s Version it’s still different. I’d really like that to be changed if that is ok but it is really good and Kate puts good effort into it and I saw one of the reviews and I agree with it. She really does make it seem real! I feel like when I fall asleep I could just go into the story! It would be so cool and amazing, and I feel like when I sleep I go through worlds and like I feel like I’m just spectating but in the snowball fight I feel like I just wanna be able to do it myself! That’s how magical and fantastical it is. I’m still sticking strong to what I said before but yea. (Not relevant but I am going to do a school strike for climate action, and if anyone wants to help it’s in St.Helens so if u wanna help pls in ur review let me know! Thx!) thx for reading!
