Cash's sister, Annie, hires Jade to provide regular massages for her son, AJ, who has a kidney disease meaning Cash and Jade will be seeing much more of each other. Cross adds a novel new age twist to their sweet romance as Jade, the granddaughter of a psychic, discovers her own psychic abilities. But the reveal that she can read Cash's mind throws their budding relationship into jeopardy. Cross's skillful plotting and well-shaded protagonists will easily draw in readers, and a stellar supporting cast especially AJ and Annie adds enjoyable depth. This is a promising series launch.
