A brilliant refreshing romance story that you have to read!
The Opposite of Wild was my first book by Kylie Gilmore but definitely won’t be my last! This book definitely makes my favourites list.
I was gripped from start to finish with Liz and Ryan’s story, although at times I wanted to bang their heads together. It was refreshing to read about two characters who felt believable and realistic and set in a realistic setting. I liked how using Maggie added another dimension to portray the two and Maggie definitely added surprising comedy moments to the book!
I felt the story was well paced, with a refreshingly unique storyline on what could be a typical plot and the dual points of views helped strengthen this story further. Although the characters have history, I liked how the author didn’t have them ’falling in love’ instantly, making the story more believable to the reader. Instead, the author showed well the frustrating and warring emotions both characters had towards each other as the story develops.
I would definitely recommend you give this book a read.

Brilliant book, encapsulates the true feelings and inhibitions of normal people who don't want to get hurt if they declare their love.
A pity that the author had to emphasise the Jewishness, which almost amounted to racism.
We all belong to the human race and have similar feelings, whatever race, religion or background.
