Loved the characters…I never wanted it to end! A sweet story filled with true love and real life moments with aging parents.

AUDIOBOOK ADDITION: I absolutely love the dual narration in this book! Christine Lakin and Matt Lanter were top notch! It really brings the characters and events to life. The emotions come through so much more deeply in the audiobook—such a rich and immersive experience!
I had the privilege of being an ARC reader for “Say You’ll Remember Me,” and, as expected, this book took me on an emotional rollercoaster. One moment I was laughing, the next I was in hysterics, and then came the tears (I have pictures, but only Abby Jimenez will ever see them—no one else should witness that!). Xavier and Samantha are everything I never knew I needed. It’s no wonder I have Abby Jimenez merch—my favorite being a mug that says, “I blame Abby Jimenez for my unrealistic dating expectations!” because let’s face it, Xaviers, Jacobs, or any of the men she writes about just don’t exist in real life (If you do have the actual character traits and not just the name and can prove it, feel free to message me! Haha).
To sum up my thoughts: this book stole my heart and has become my new favorite from Abby. Maybe it’s because I could deeply relate to the storyline involving terminal illness—my mom passed away from cancer a year ago, and my dad was the caretaker for both of us during the last eight months of her life on hospice. That caretaking aspect really resonated with me and won me over. Thank you for letting me read this early. I can’t wait for my preordered book and audiobook so I can experience the adventure all over again! Also…can we get a book about Hank next?!
