THE STORY

Great companion to WarHammer table top game
After diving into Warhammer AoS and picking up the Skaventide starter box, I was eager to explore more of the story and its context—and this book delivered! As a newcomer, it was incredibly helpful to learn about the different Stormcast groups, as well as the various roles and hierarchies within the faction. This added a lot of depth and appreciation for my models now that I have a rich lore backdrop to build on. The Skaven, on the other hand, are fantastic antagonists—equal parts hilarious and horrifying. Any part of the story involving them is a blast to read. If you’re at all interested in Warhammer and looking for a great entry point, or if you’re already familiar with the Stormcast or Skaven factions in AoS, I highly recommend this book!
