The result is a fantastic buddy comedy with two strong and relatable leads. We simply loved spending time with these two, whether we were learning about Phoebe’s history or navigating the increasingly complex activities for Lila’s wedding. The Wedding People is a delightfully warmhearted read.

Good read!
Nice book for summer
Love/Hate Relationship
I found this book to be very thought provoking, and I honestly didn’t think I was going to finish it. I found the description of the book to be…wrong. It is not a comedy; it is, in my opinion, a deep delving of the human condition & human relationships & just… being human. I love the way it is written, but it was hard for me to be Phoebe’s head so much. By the end of it I liked it, but in the beginning it was not a very happy place to be. The end of the journey is inspiring, but that journey really affected me deeply while reading. I’m still processing it. But that is the mark of good literature!

Well written and thought provoking. Highly recommend. I read this in a day.
