APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Armed with homespun charm, Jefferson Fisher simplifies the art of effective communication with this guide. One in a long line of trial attorneys, he soaked up lessons from his family from a young age, such as that winning an argument should never be as important as finding an equitable resolution. Fisher, who first gained notice by recording communication tips from the front seat of his truck, delivers practical, earthy wisdom. As he notes, most of us know what we want to say—the struggle is with how to say it. Some pieces of advice are courtroom tested, like speaking confidently and avoiding fillers like “you know,” while others resonate on a more personal level, including dispensing with needless apologies and utilizing statements like “I see things differently” during an argument. His Texan drawl and reassuring manner instantly make his narration feel safe. The practical advice in The Next Conversation will lessen the anxiety of even the most difficult exchanges.

Listen & watch your conversations change!
Phenomenal! Jefferson is simple yet profound. Caring but firm. Easy but complex. This book deserves to sit next to the John Maxwell & Simon Sinek books. Thank you Jefferson! I tried it, and now I follow you.
The next conversation
A great, fun book to listen too. J. does an excellent job by describing situations out of the working world and private. He uses examples, teaches you different techniques on how to handle difficult situations. J. is knowledgeable and funny and his explanations are easy to understand and follow. I can recommend this book to anyone looking for advice or is open to learn on how to improve its communication skills.
This book changed me, a stubborn more than shy person
And to be clear, it did it in minutes. Yet know it is up to you, not the author's.
